DEEJAY SANTOMIN

DIGITAL CREATOR | ENGINEERING UNDERGRAD

About Me

Greetings, I’m Deejay Santomin, a videographer, photographer, and undergraduate research student at Portland State University’s Maseeh College of Engineering, studying electrical engineering. Through years of videography, I’ve developed a sharp eye for detail, creative problem-solving skills, and a deep appreciation for the intersection of technology and creativity. These strengths now shape the way I approach engineering. At PSU, I'm part of the Teuscher Lab, focused on Next Generation Computing Models and Architectures. I transferred after earning my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts Pre-Engineering emphasis from the Northern Marianas College through the PROA Pathways Program, motivated by a desire to gain the tools and knowledge needed to help improve systems back home. Growing up in the CNMI taught me the value of community and resilience. I’m driven to use both my creative and technical skillsets to improve the quality of life in the CNMI and beyond.
